This Summer we’re very happy to be championing some of the finest products available, one of which is Freedom Authentic, English Lager.
Freedom Brewery has been crafting some of the best tasting, award-winning lagers since 1995. From rolling its first barrel out of the door in Parsons Green, West London over ten years ago, Freedom has since relocated to a gorgeous countryside brewery in Abbots Bromley, Staffordshire in 2004. It has become the hub for organic and vegan friendly lager and can now be found it 650 outlets across the country, one of which is The Chequers, Bilton-in-Ainsty and another being The Swan & Talbot, Wetherby.
Now onto the good stuff…..Freedom Authentic!
In the words of Freedom Brew Master, Jonathan Smith, “Freedom Authentic has citrus a nose, and sweet malt and toasted cereal aromas. It’s well-balanced, with a bitter finish. Full-bodied, light and refreshing.”
Not only does it taste good but you can feel good drinking it too as Freedom have sustainable values at their heart.
The brewery recycles as much plastic, cardboard and other items as possible.
The spent grain from production is supplied to a local farmer to feed his sheep and cattle. Their brewery is located next to a natural water source so they don’t need to transport any water and it’s among the best water for lager production due to its neutral PH rating.
They have built a reed bed system to clean their water so any waste water is cleaned through a natural, anaerobic digestion system!
